I have played Double Bass since November 06. Around April 08 I began studying with Dave Miller. The classical studies are fun, chalenging and are becoming increasingly addicting. I'm afraid I'm hooked. Oh well; Just an hour a day for the rest of my life!
I enjoy many styles of music but love Jazz and Swing. I play bass with a group,The Flat 5 String Band which is based in Ashalnd, OR.
The 4 songs featured above are a product of myslef, Brian Miller and Fancy Lance who gets recording credits with the digital handheld. Brian and I have wanted a venue to play song's which are not swingy enough for FLat 5 for almost the entire 2 years the band has played and have recently been able to play a few unreheresed gigs with drummer Lance. We are trying to have fun and I hope that comes across. Forgive the muffs and banal song selection. They are part of the process. Enjoy.
