About me: The Bomb Squad Scooter Club formed in Reno in November of 2000 and has traditionally been a club made up of members who have vintage scooters. Noel had come up with the name somewhere in the 90s. Over the years, members have included Noel, Chris, Seth, Joe R, Jon, Joe S, Sean, Ethan, Andy, Jenny, Paolo, Jasmine, and Lorenzo. After Noel and Chris left the area, Seth had largely been the energy and glue to keep the club going and together. Currently, Noel, Chris, Sean, and Joe S live out of the area, and will always have a place here. Unfortunately, October, 2008, Seth asked to no longer be recognized as a member.
We had our inaugural Doomtown Rally over the Labor Day Weekend of 2006. It was one of the most memorable events for those that attended because we got to park our scooters backstage for the English Beat show and Dave Wakeling & Lynval Golding took photos with us on a couple of our scooters.
Doomtown has continued each Labor Day weekend since then, and although it's hard to top our inaugural rally - we keep trying! Please see our Doomtown myspace page for more details about it.

About this page: I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D
