About me: Better Tomorrows Adult Education Center is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower the people of Nashville to strengthen themselves and their families through education. ***** Located in the Dickerson Road area of Nashville, BTAEC is in an area where 40% of adults ages 25 and over are without a high school diploma or GED; 30% live below the poverty line; and the unemployment rate is 13.2%. In addition, a teacher at nearby Glenn Elementary estimates that 30% of her parents are functionally illiterate. ***** To address these statistics, BTAEC offers free classes using dedicated staff and volunteers. Check out FacesForACure.Com and consider adding to the digital mosaic that I am working diligently to fill up completely. The wall stands for strength, motivation and inspiration to aid the healing of the millions of cancer fighters out there.
When the wall is full, half of the proceeds will go straight to Cancer Research to help aid the discovery of the cure. At that point, another wall will be opened up so we can continue to create a visual of our strong community.

Vi i Världen (We in the world) is planning Scandinavias biggest environment festival in Västerås Sweden 14 july 2007. A festival free for all. A festival to shine light on the problem our planet is in with global warming and global consciousness. It is going to be a fantastic oppurtunity for us people to meet and see what WE can do together. Not to meet to throw stones but to meet and see how WE can work together to make this planet the wonderful world it can be. It is you and I that can do something about it.
