In 1999, when a band called Billy The Kid were at the height of their fame with singles like "Don't Stop Believin'" and "YMCA", lead singer and songwriter Johnny Villar was killed in a car accident while driving home from a party at Academy Award winning actor James Dean's home in West Hollywood. Upon disovering the body, the rest of the band were alerted of Villar's passing and, rather then disbanding, replaced Villar with a look-a-like that same night. The actual body of Johnny Villar was buried in an unknown spot in The San Francisco Bay Area. Billy The Kid carried on performing and it seemed no one knew that Villar had died. Practically no one, that is. 9 years later, a 17 year old songwriter named Gerard Cabarse disovered a finger sticking out of the dirt in his backyard in South San Francisco. Upon digging through the dirt, he disovered that he had in fact uncovered the partially mutatilated body of Johnny Villar! He ran to his friends Adam Leary and Stephen Sester and proclaimed "I've found our lead singer!". Using plastic skin to complete Villar's body, the group electricuted his dead body with 39,000 volts and he was alive! After a year of training him to work properly, the group recorded "The Night Goes On Forever" on June 5th, 2009 and CASINO AVENUE WAS BORN! What happens now? You'll just have to wait and see!
Yeah, I can understand the knack thing, I've been sending out resumes like crazy lately. Most of them to really big projects, like hsm4 and Pirates of the Caribbean 4, I haven't heard anything yet, but I have my fingers crossed.
