Somebody buy me that new "'Inspired by Michael Bloomfield 1959 Les Paul!' or I'd settle for the 'Inspired by Joe Bonamassa' version. . . No takers? Okay, then, how a bout a cup of coffee?

I play music. Some. I used to do more. Mainly I play guitar, but have some skills on other intstruments such as bass, keyboards, and drums. I usually have some form of home studio running. I usually attend and perform at the Open Stage at Unity (as they're calling it now "Coffee House and Open Stage a/k/a CHaOS) the second Friday of every month. I pick up on a few other open mic situations now and then. I used to play in bands and have run sound at the Empty Glass and other venues. I've worked in a couple of real live recording studios and did a CD cover for a band on Capitol Records. Music is good.
Don't like much country or rap. I like anything as long as it's excellent. Actually I like some pretty cheesy things as well. . .

I do like Lyle Lovitt, Albert Lee, Tater, the Dixie Chicks, and a few individual country songs. VInce Gill is just all right with me. I like some rap, but not much. Classical, Reggae, Blues, Rock, you name it.
As far as showtunes, give me Meatloaf or give me death.
This is Bob Worth, my son Sean, and me doing a James McMurtry song at Ron Sowell's Open Stage at Unity in October 2008

I don't know why I preach (yes, I'm ordained) (NO, not like that) against having expectations, yet I have them anyway. I have to get over that. Not having expectations, completely, not mostly, can immunize you against such things as disappointment, fear, and accelerated heart rate at being startled. In themselves, admirable goals, but mostly eliminating expectations will allow you to experience every moment fully. What more could you want?

Now that I'm old and in the way I watch my dreams and aspirations float slowly away like a paper boat on a lake large enough to have tides. All the scummy bits and rotting tree blossoms, all the dead insects and insoluable dust float back toward me, aggregating at my feet, building a muck with which to shape the rest of my life.

Hey man, I have a friend or two who might need to be deprogrammed from their current state of being. They're "Beckers." It breaks my heart, because when i tell them he's batcrap crazy, they squirm to defend the Jim Jones type character. Be afraid of the government said Jim Jones! Be afraid.....said he.
