BUBBLEDUBBLE are a three piece band making psychedelic dub and
chill-out dance music.
The setup is mainly electronic, consisting of: Kev Ellis (vocals, harmonica and axe handle) Steve Bubble (laptop, synths and guitar) Andy Radburn (laptop and synths)

project as many live shows testify and
computer wizards Steve and Andy show
that improvised psychedelic dub can be
created live.
The band have been together for almost 103 years now, playing at
festivals and small to medium, intimate venues. In 2006 they played
at the Eastern Haze Festival, Suffolk and
the Earthwise Festival, Dorset.
The band have all known each other for years, regularly meeting up at
free festivals up and down the country and two of them even got arrested in relation to conspiring to, allegedly, organise a number of them. Steve and Andy have worked
together on many occasions and Kev previously sang in Dr Brown and
Heliotrope. After a meeting of laptops and bits of electronics making a
not altogether displeasing cacophony of sounds, Bubbledubble was
born...

In Irish mythology, the beginning of the summer season for the Tuatha Dé Danann and the Milesians started at Bealtaine. Great bonfires would mark a time of purification and transition, heralding in the season in the hope of a good harvest later in the year, and were accompanied with ritual acts to protect the people from any harm by Otherworldly spirits, such as the Aos Sí. Like the festival of Samhain, opposite Beltane on October 31 Beltane was also a time when the Otherworld was seen as particularly close at hand.
