Bubble Fish were born in summer 2003, and initially made their first steps as a
punk-rock band. The following year, with the addition of a brass section to their
line-up, they started playing ska-core.
The first shows with such a line-up took place in spring 2004, and are simply the
kick-off of an intense live activity bringing the band to many stages within their
region.
From 2006, with a new bassist and trumpeter, Bubble Fish widened and renewed
their repertory, being contaminated by various genres: reggae,
metal, hardcore, country, and disco find all a place in the songs of a
band that has fun playing with every style, grafting it on a third wave
ska-core stock à la Mad Caddies, Shandon or Reel Big Fish. With these changes also
the lyrics
(all in English) became more important, trying to describe fun, rage,
love, hope and alienation in unpredictable ways.
This new thrust gave birth to the project of a short tour in Andalusia (june
2006) and to the recording of the demo EP “Already Old” that, after some long hard
work, came out in march 2007. In the same year of “Already Old” more important shows
took place in Italy and abroad with bands like Arbe
Garbe (I), Kennybal Smith (SLO) and Al & The Black Cats (USA).
2008 brings a lot of news to the band: another line-up change with the new trombonist Cjo, more shows but, most of all, the release of their latest work, the entirely self-produced 8 songs EP "Let's Roll", in july 2008. To support this new record from may to august Bubble Fish play shows in Austria (for the first time), with bands like Not Found (I) and Fire in The Attic (D), Slovenia and Italy, and partecipate to two nationally distributed compilations hosted by Sin Records ("28 reasons - x2 - to be a Sinrocker") and Peccirecords ("The explosion of Punk vol. 3").
Dopo decisioni sofferte, sacrifici, sbattimenti, incazzi… in una logica blood, sweat and tears, e’ finalmente uscito come si diceva una volta “nei migliori negozi di dischi” l’album d’esordio dei Did: Kumar Solarium. Il disco oggi è disponbile in una versione digipack con grafica esterna e del booklet red e green (per intenderci come gli occhialini da cinema 3d, ve li ricodate???) visibile con delle gelatine che sono all’interno della confezione. Questa versione speciale è limitata alla prima stampa.

NON E' UN CONCORSO ARTISTICO/MUSICALE E NEANCHE UNA GARA DI BRAVURA!!!!!!
PER CHI ??? Rivolto alle band locali, che ovviamente fanno musica propria, della zona che comprende le provincie italiane di UD,TS,GO,PN e quelle slovene confinanti con l'Italia. NO COVER BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!
QUANDO??? L'evento avrà luogo in media 2 volte al mese presso la sede del PF Factory preferibilmente nel weekend(venerdi o sabato)
PERCHE'??? I motivi e l'obiettivo di questo Progetto/Evento è dare un aiuto alle band originali locali, sia per dar loro visibilità nel panorama musicale regionale, sia per introdurli in un contesto professionale su uno dei pochi TOP STAGE in Regione.

CRITERI DI SELEZIONE???
Lo stuff Save the Locals addetto alla selezione delle bands si baserà sull'ascolto musicale tramite myspace(o altre forme di streaming). I generi presi in considerazione saranno consoni alla programmazione e stile del PF Factory; quindi Rock,Punk,Metal,Pop e tutti i loro sottogeneri!!!!!!!!
SVOLGIMENTO DELLE SERATE:
3 Bands a serata, le quali saranno, nel limite del possibile, band con peculiarità musicali simili.
