About Bubblegum

Formados en Oviedo en septiembre de 2000. En principio formación de trio (Angel Kaplan, Tote (bajo) y Pani). Ensayan varios meses en los locales de Pedro Bastarrica (Oviedo) hasta que consiguen un local decente donde poder pasar de horarios y de utilizar instrumentos de otros. En 2001 y 2002 graban dos maquetas y ese año también el primer disco (ya con Fernando Marín incorporado) que edita Snap! Records en 2003. Ese año Tote se va y entra Iván Díaz al bajo, proveniente de varias bandas punkpop. Así siguen hasta 2005 donde graban su segundo disco titulado “Ten stereo Pictures” que edita Rock Indiana en 2006. En Junio de 2006 Fernando Marin deja el grupo y entra en su lugar Adrian Fresno (antes en La Ruta), formación con la que continúan actualmente.

Su último trabajo es editado en noviembre de 2008 y lleva por título “Where is Matthew Smith” también en Rock indiana. Y ha sido considerado como mejor disco del año 2008 por la prestigiosa web ‘Power Pop Action!’.
