A little over 12 years ago Dave Foster had it with his old band (Flat Dog), a college goof that well outlasted the college years, and decided to go it alone. With that intention, he somehow ended up becoming 1/3 of a trio with drummer Tom DeVito and bassist Russ Alderson, debuting as the Dave Foster Three and after committing to being an actual band, Bubble. They played around NYC for the next year gaining a local buzz in the press. In 1995 they put out a self-released, self-titled 6 song EP that garnered some nice words from the local press and indie pop fanzines. They attempted to follow up the EP by recording an ambitious full length album that spanned 16 songs, many sessions and disintegrated along with the lineup after a year. For the next few years Dave, Tom and Television bassist Fred Smith worked on a scaled back version of the abandoned full length disc, using some of the old material as well as adding newer tunes. This eventually became their debut full length CD "Bash Bish", which was released on their own Oomph! label in 2000 to more critical praise. During the recording of that album bassist Matt Lindsey (Swamp Cabbage, Amy Speace) and guitarist Rich Feridun (Amy Speace) joined the group and, along with alternating keys players Jon Spurney (Stew, Amy Rigby) and Max Low (Sad Little Stars). played shows over the next few years. In recent years Dave and Tom have been finishing Dave's solo CD follow up to "Bash Bish" called "Blue Circle" (to be released in 2007). Dave and Tom are also finishing up an album's worth of as yet unreleased band tracks to be completed in the coming year. In addition to all the recording time, Bubble has also been performing faithful recreations of Beatles music (full albums and a selection of hits) live for the past year for sell out crowds both old and young.

Ten DANK things you can do to help legalize marijuana (in no particular order).
1. Write a letter to a policy maker. This can be local, state or federal level-if we all take the time to do this it makes a huge difference. Take a few minutes to an hour to draft a letter-then once a week take five minutes-send it to a different official, when there is a bill related to marijuana you will have a good base. DANK recommends using a government website or visiting http://www.makepotlegal555.org to find address information for legislators.
2. Encourage others to write their legislators-each time you write to one, pass the name and address around to your like minded friends-get them writing in, too.
3. Volunteer for a Pro-Cannabis event! Look on online, maybe there is one in your area-there are several on the DANKinfo website and at least once volunteer for Seattle Hempfest-you will be impacted in unimaginable ways. For more info: http://hempfest.org/drupal/Volunteers
4. Attend a Pro-Cannabis event! Bring your friends and family members-especially those that would like to be better educated on the drug war and related issues. See the DANKinfo website for a list and once again, I must say (maybe I am biased) at least once in your life attend Seattle Hempfest-the third week of August. See http://www.hempfest.org/drupal for more info. Another good choice is the Global Marijuana March (www.globalmarijuanamarch.org). Check the website for it-there is likely a march planned near you—if not see #9
5. Support organizations such as LEAP, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (http://www.leap.cc/cms/index.php), where the proponents of changing the law are those whom have enforced it and seen the failures first hand. Methods of support include donating, volunteering, passing out fliers, attending events, passing on info, re-posting MySpace bulletins, etc.
6. Donate money to those organizations who are influencing policy change-great examples are NORML (www.norml.org),
