Wish I had the witticisms to write political and informative shtuffs like you...but alas, I'm too easily distracted by shiny things, so all I like writing is fluff about what I did all weekend long. The wind tunnel is a vertical wind tunnel, used for skydiving training and simulation. They've got them all over the US! Think the closest one to you is in NH, though. They are fantastic fun, and an awesome way for anyone who's either not 18 or extremely afraid of heights to experience something like freefall---but without all the cool visuals and the certificate that says "I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane." Weight limit at the dropzone where I work now (Skydive DeLand in DeLand, FL) is 225. They're pretty darn strict about it at most DZ's and not quite so at others. Though mainly for weight restrictions on the parachutes, it's also a matter of whether the harness will fit. Dooo eeet! Go skydiving!!!
