en bubbletone queremos ser un sello de indiepop como los de toda la vida. nuestra inspiración está en sarah, matinée, shelflife, creation, labrador, annika, elefant... creemos que 3 minutos de pop perfecto lo valen todo. creemos en el do it yourself, pero no creemos que eso tenga por qué estar reñido con mimar cada detalle al máximo, tanto en las canciones como en el diseño. y por eso creemos que sólo debemos editar eps y recopilatorios temáticos, en los que tanto los grupos como nosotros demos lo mejor que tengamos para crear algo mágico. creemos en el presente, y por eso no creemos que debamos fichar a los grupos: creemos en momentos en los que nos cruzamos con gente que ha creado algo que nos apasiona y hacemos lo posible por hacer que eso salga a la luz, y si esos momentos vuelven a repetirse libremente, perfecto, pero si no, al menos nos quedaremos con la seguridad de que conseguimos aportar algo precioso al mundo y ser consecuentes con nuestra forma de pensar. y creemos en que los discos deben estar al alcance del mayor público posible, y eso también incluye que circulen por internet, que los amigos se hagan copias entre ellos. por eso también intentaremos que sean asequibles, para que quien crea que merece la pena comprar el disco no tenga que empeñarse para hacerlo. y todo eso, porque creemos que lo harán si nuestros discos merecen realmente la pena. lo intentaremos con toda nuestra ilusión.

we want bubbletone to be just like an indiepop label has always meant to be. our inspiration is in sarah, matinée, shelflife, creation, labrador, annika, elefant… we think 3 minutes of perfect pop are worth everything. we believe in do-it-yourself, but we don’t think that should be against caring for every single detail, as much in songs as in design. and that’s why we think we should only release eps and theme compilations, where both bands and us do our best to create something magic. we believe in present, and that’s why we think we shouldn’t sign bands: we believe in moments when our ways cross other people’s, people who create stuff that we love so that we make our best efforts to make it come out. and if those moments happen again freely, that’s perfect, but if they don’t, at least we’ll know we have given the world something precious while being honest to our beliefs. and we also think records should be on hand for the biggest audience possible, and that also includes friends sharing records among themselves, either though the net or making copies. that’s why we’ll try our records not to be expensive, so that anyone who thinks they’re worth having won’t have to sell out to get them. above all, because we think people will get our records if they’re good enough. we’ll do our best.
