Based in Manchester (UK), BUCHANAN are a five-piece country band. The emphasis is on homespun country songs of heartache and redemption, pain and loss, beehives and coffee.
The new Buchanan album 'The Picture' has been nominated and shortlisted for Album of the Year in the UK Country Radio Awards.
Formed in 2002, BUCHANAN have gigged throughout the North of England and have gained a great deal of support in Europe where they have appeared with acts such as Dwight Yoakam, Asleep at the Wheel, Marty Stuart and many top acts from Texas and Scandanavia. This year they played at the Norwegian Harley Davidson SuperRally with Dave Edmunds and at the Countryfestivalen in Seljord with Bobby Bare, Chely Wright and Brennen Leigh.
