I do my best to follow my Lord Jesus Christ. I am also an alum and rabid fan of Ohio State sports. I am also fond of video games, and the pirate history of "Spanish Main" era of Caribbean.
Music
Much of my musical tastes are composed of Christian artists: Casting Crowns, Andrew Peterson, Lincoln Brewster, Michael W. Smith, BarlowGirl, etc... I like all genres of music, and have secular songs that I like as well. I find no value in songs that promote or encourage promiscuity, drugs, violence, or hate.
Movies
Again, I have an appreciation of many types of movies. I love the mainstream comic book movies (Batman Begins, Superman I/II/Returns, Spiderman movies). I also like: Indiana Joens trilogy, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Army of Darnkess, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Tombstone, The Princess Bride, Necessary Roughness, Serendipity, and Red Eye & The Notebook (Rachel McAdams!!).
Television
We have cut back on TV watching recently.... We only watch a few shows now: Friday Night Lights, House, Bones, Lost, and The Big Bang Theory. I was a big fan of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel back when they were on.
Books
I don't read much outside The Bible. I am a slow reader...
Heroes
My utmost hero: my savior Jesus Christ. My wife, my parents, and my wife's family bring much meaning and guidance to my life. I am also inspired by Jim Tressel, who brought his unwavering and unapologetic love for Christ with him to Ohio State and has used his position to strengthen, encourage, and build up so many young men.
I live a blessed life. God brought me together with an exquisite woman named Katie, whom I love more than my own life. We share many things and love Christ. But amazingly God also made us quite different, and our marriage is truly a kaleidoscope of opinions and approaches that perfectly blend together into a codependent harmony. Our story serves as a testament to His intimate knowledge of every one of us. We have two beautiful children named Noelle and Kylie, who bring us much joy and laughter. I am a flawed man with only the salvation and talents that God himself has given me. But I pledge to use that which I have for the glory of God.

You'd laugh yer ass off if you saw what dad's been up to. He's got a new touch screen phone, mom got one too, and just yesterday they bought a 32" Sharp flat screen LCD tv!! LMAO... I had to go help them get it hooked up and move the old tv.
