I'm Michael Buckholtz. I wrote music, produced and performed for MC Hammer back in the day. (That's me on the cover of Keyboard magazine in the friends section below.) I learned a lot of what to do and not to do in the music industry. I've reinvented myself as many do in this business to make a new statement. I am passionate about good music and also helping impoverished families with autistic children. Check out my story. There's much more to it, but, we need all the support we can get to really get the music, message and money to the families that really need it. PEACE!
Basically we are three brothers from Linden, New Jersey. We currently reside in Georgia. We never left our roots of Jersey. We are still from that Jersey block in Linden.
We also have a more passionate reason for doing this music thing. We are going to help those who have to deal with autism and Asperger's Syndrome (a high functioning version of autism) in their lives. We want to raise as much awareness, funds...whatever we can do to help. We're not Hollywood movie stars with deep pockets and lots of connections. We're like the 'average John and Jane Doe's' out here tryin' to make a living like everybody else. Who's helping us? No one. So, we decided to become proactive and do something about it; plain and simple.
KARDENs GREETING CARD WORLD
Please support Wendy's efforts to raise funds for autism. You will find a wonderful assortment of cards for every occassion there. Enjoy!
We've started a foundation that will assist autistic and Asperger syndrome children (their families) and adults through cash awards and grants that would defray any costs for therapy or diagnostic treatment. Is there a cure? Probably not likely. However, we are confident as a group that what little we can do financially through this foundation will at least allow these families to lead as comfortable and routine a life as possible. For people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome this is extremely important. The expense involved in dealing with this condition is ridiculous. We know first hand. Our family has been dealing with Asperger's Syndrome for more than 40 years and didn't even know it. It bankrupted my parents. This should not have to happen to anyone. This is very close to our hearts and we cannot stand to see or hear of another person's life (or family) being wrecked because this condition wasn't taken seriously. We will provide the funds through grants from our foundation and the families in turn will seek the help they need to keep themselves intact.

Mike, I think you and I may have met a time or two at Phoenix Sound, before it closed, in Macon. Do you know Skip? If you do, I'll send you a MySpace email, to jog your memory. If not, please excuse my sidetracked thought.
Thanks for stopping by, and I am happy to support you as well, my friend.
