MySpace a place for friends

In Ulster County N.Y. and other parts of the Hudson Valley there is a huge overpopulation problem with feral, abandoned and stray cats.
We learned about this when a large feral cat colony was discovered near our home.
All of the local animal agencies are completely overwhelmed already so we decided to rescue these cats ourselves.

We created this rescue group in memory of our beloved cat Bucky who passed away in 2006.

Our organization is dedicated to providing unwanted animals with proper medical attention, spaying or neutering and placement in loving homes.
We are also willing to assist families who are victims of domestic abuse to rescue, safely shelter and/or place their cats.
We wish to educate people about feral cats and their colonies to help mobilize communities who are challenged by this same problem.

Bucky's Rescue is a small organization of volunteers who love animals and cannot bear to see them suffering. This is a not-for-profit organization.
We depend entirely upon donations.
