BUCKZ BOYZ was started by two brothers Jai and Daniel, because of their love for music...the BUCKZ BOYZ have been playing all the local shows, bars, and parties.
They first made thier debut @ chynas surf meet in 2003, and made the Semifinals on the Mai Tai Battle of the Bands in 2004
Their first CD " LIVIN IN HAWAII” released back in 2003 got radio play on the Hawaiian Radio Station; Island 98.5. They have been featured in the newspaper and have played all over the Oahu and Maui.
They have now released their CD EP "Genuine", which is getting good vibes and radio play. "Sounds So" a song in collaboration with BET (Big Every Time) is getting local island radio play, as well as the love inspired track "Genuine" Some Venues they have played are Pipeline Cafe, Gordon Biersch, Sunset on The Beach, Boardriders, Chynas, Hapas Bar n Grill in Maui, Rossis pizza in San Diego and the Westin LAX Hotel as well as numerous parties and graduations. Just recently they went on tour and played in L.A.
They were featured on "Nightime" The Andy Bumatai Show in DEC 2007 along with Maxx Effex and Anjj Lee.
Buckz Boyz have had the pleasure of performing with such great acts as OOKLAH THE MOC, FREESOUND, RAS DANNY, NATURAL VIBRATIONS, B.E.T, MAXX EFFEX, PRESSURE DROP, POHAKU, PAULA FUGA,OPIHI PICKERS and others.
