SOL of HIPHOP Radio
Greetings. For those that don’t know, Sol of Hip-Hop is an internet based hip-hop formatted show that caters to those looking for the kind of music that they have come to know and love as pure unadulterated hip-hop. What exactly is pure unadulterated hip-hop you ask. It is the music that represents the culture of hip-hop and reaffirms the conscience that is animated by the hip-hop spirit. We here at the Sol of Hip-Hop believe in giving you, the listener, a full uninhibited idea of what this music is and represents. This music and culture give meaning to life, definition to experiences, and an identity to those who know understand its purpose. This group of four are determined to bring you the purest in hip-hop’s essence and strengthen the values and cause of this movement.
Sol of Hip-Hop is based out of Southern California. It is the longest running show on TIR (Titan Internet Radio) and has been on air for seven years. It is manned by four individuals. These four are: The Earl, DJ Naga, Mr. Martel, and DJ Buddhabong. Sol of Hip-Hop incorporates the vast background of each member, melding into one belief and purpose: conveying to the world to what the freshest and purest hip-hop is.
The ultimate goals of Sol of Hip-Hop is to bridge gaps to those new to hip-hop and provide quality information to those who are seasoned fans. This is done through interviews of hip-hop’s most influential voices and giving those who are coming up an outlet to for their craft. Sol of Hip-Hop is committed to helping those within hip-hop’s community through our ability to give their music and voice a forum with which to be heard. We take great pride in saying that our play list is far from anything you have yet to see. Giving those in need of rotations that are not going to find it else where (read: mainstream radio) is the most important element to our show. It gives a voice to those who need it most. We are a show dedicated to giving a spotlight to those who are new to making the music and to those who have done the most for the music and culture. So sit back, lamp, and listen to the freshest in Hip-hop music any where, here at Sol of Hip-Hop.
