Formed in Brisbane, Australia in the mid-nineties, garage punk metal kings Buddkiller combine eccentric humour, powerful riffing and raw punk overtones to deliver a incomparable sound and live show that's been captivating audiences for well over a decade.
Lead by one of Brisbane's most aberrant and unique front men, Michael Timm's delivers with attitude a genuinely original rapid-fire punk/rap vocal style while boasting an onstage presence that is both uncompromising and engaging.
In 2005 the band were signed by Brisbane label Hum & Buzz and went on to record their seminal self-titled debut album. The release successfully captured the band's live intensity and along with an increase in local performances the group soon garnered an eclectic and loyal fan-base.
Subsequent years have seen the band maintaining their profile through selected shows alongside some of Brisbane's finest rock acts while individual members have also gone on to forge several side-projects mining the pop, electronic and folk genres.
2009 will see Buddkiller brought back into focus with the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album due mid-year and touring on both local and national fronts.

Chick Flick return to play the globe this school holiday night, Thursday 24 September 2009. Fellow rockers will include - Triplickit, The Wretched Villains and Ghostboy + friends. For an extra treat the night’s proceedings will include circus action with burlesque dancers, hula hoopers, jugglers and acro –balances performances.
