Most people marvel at how we are able to play so many instruments and play them so well.
The reason is when we were in our crib instead of being given a blanket to keep us warm
our mom gave us a banjo and a fiddle instead, now there you have it. Instruments to us are just like an extension of our limbs, you play one you’ve played them all, the only hard part is staying in tune.
If anybody knows the answer to that, we'd like to know!. It's more valuable to us than the fountain of youth. We’ve gone a lot of places and done a lot of things. Come out to our concerts whenever you can. Peradventure our paths may cross some day, it would be a pleasure to share our music with you like our 100 year old Grandmother shared with us.
Multi-instrumentalists singers/songwriters Buddy and Tina Wright have opened for many top acts including Grammy award winners Randy Travis, Waylon Jennings and Keb’ Mo’. Their numerous TV appearances includes TNN Ducks Unlimited, a documentary on CNN, and the award winning documentary on CMT entitled Waiting In The Wings. 2008 recipients of NEA Masterpieces
Artist Award. They studied under Jess Levin of the University of North Carolina, Arkady Fomin of the Dallas Symphony and Dr. Springer of Fort Worth Symphony. Combining a remarkable mix of Piedmont, Appalachia, ballads, old-time, folk songs and originals. The Buddy and Tina Wright Band forms a solid collection of music double-guaranteed to entertain, educate, and amaze.
They also have an interactive Traditional American Heritage Music Program for schools and libraries.

Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?
