BREIF HISTORY OF BUDDY BLACK'S MUSIC CAREER: Born in Columbus,OH Move to Charlotte/NC Now live in Birmingham&Jasper/Al It all begin at my homie Meedskie's house(authenic ), he had an 4 bar loop machine, two turntables, and an keyboard. I use to watch him make beats all day, and they would put it down all the time(flowing) but a few times I fuck around with making beats.I wasn't rapping then but was fucking around with folks songs changing words around when i was sanging. That what started me writing, I just started writing in a pad to no beats just striaght writing bars & hooks.I graduated in 98,shit ran the streets,club it to death,had a healthy young boy,and fiqured this wasn't the place for me to get ahead. So at the age of 20yrs old I choose to move to Charlotte/NC, that when music really hit me. The music scene was differnet in Charlotte then I was use to. There wasn't the real mom and pops stores, But one place that kept me grounded and where I end up working at one time Manifest. I eventually got wit a few homies that I had met Qua(Cak-G) and DeWayne(former ballplayer). And we started freestyling alot, then DeWayne and I started writing songs and freestyling on tapes to instrumentals. With Dewayne it was nothing but a party, fun and girls so when it came to rapping about hoes partying and that shit it was nothing cause shit we live it. We started hitting the scene hard with the then Charlotte Hornets,games,clubs,etc.. We mostly hung with Dewayne 's older cuz David Wesley(Cleveland/Cavs,now over ten yrs vet, congrates)(rip Bobby Phills,Never met but had the pleasure of meeting his wife and son) he took me in like a extended faimly member. He alone showed me alot in the world at a young age,(20-23yrs) like what it is like to have money, but how to stay very grounded and how your suppose to take care of your faimly etc.. I don't know how but one of are tapes that was just from my understanding done for play play landed in Baron Davis hands(present time a Charlotte Hornet, now Golden St.), He meet and knews of us threw David Wesly, but we had never really chilled. He called us up on Dewayne's phone one day, and wanted to kick some freestyles, we thought he wanted to do a song. So we took him to a studio called Phase One. There Baron check shit out, and said fuck it and bought a $300 beat and paid for studio time($60*3hrs). We laid down a track that was hot, but cuz said all he wanted to do was freestyle he'd did'nt expect to pay that much(he did'nt know those tapes was done on boom box to boom box). Thanks to Baron, he help us develop an relationship with Phase One that continued in the future, with Heavy Handed and Cak-G's new group Gutta Boys Ent. After realizing that I must have some talent, I went to work with my homie Qua (Cak-G), and we began to make an album.(HeavyHanded Affiliates 2001). We purchased everthing in the book for an home studio, for my house and his. Covered every base there was to produce an product was are hands in touch in every phase. We made our own beats do to bad ordeals , and surrounding producers acting to tight with there own production. We pressed and sold our album from the trunk, due to conflicts on which song to get played on the radio, and which directions we should go and other promblems we split ties(still homies). I move on making numerous another underground albums and groups like 100 Proof with my homie Little E(2002) and 7 solo albums(2001-04). Due to a couple altercations, and some untrusty confiedants placing an false warrent on me, for defending my self against them trying to rob me.(thats not gansta!!) Not knowing one had a pistol and the odds is 3-1, untill my Momma knock that bitch off my back the Fuck Out!! To avoid all the law promblems, and praises from my mom to go on a vacation. I in-up moving to Alambama thanks to Mike Fresh and fell into the Lower way of living.(Low Life 2001-2006) All our lives we stayed in touch, and stayed traveled back and fourth(completing albums in the process), we created friendship just like are fathers started in there childhood, We shared the same love for music, women, cars, etc... He put me in with a program called Fruity Loops in 01, and I in exchange my knowledge of the music, knowledge of the industry and all my tricks. Although I can say he was allready in full go in the music with his rhyme-partner in crime and my childhood buddy D-ray, and a young ready but not so ready rapper named Veto. We all form the group Low Life(which name was took from a well know local street gang, with approval from creating O.G.'s) We all brought that something to the table, juggled all trades. I myself engineered,produced,and composed with Mike Fresh who also laid down tracks, engineered and as well wrote songs and hooks. D-ray was a monster on the mic, and Veto too would produce and write songs as well. So from an company stand point we were in full formation. But as they say for every good theres a bad,and for ever bad there a good!

BOTH ARE ALL AROUND HUSTLERS, BUT TRYING TO SELL BULLSHIT MERCHANDISE(with ah then un-known track record) TO UN-PLEASENT CUSTOMERS WASN'T GETTING IT. SO AFTER A LONG DAY OF GRINDIN AND NO PAY, THE TWO DECIDED TO END THE DAY

THEY STARTED TO BREAK BREAD TOGETHER IN THIER MANY TRADES OF HUSTLE AND EVENTUALLY BECAME LIKE AH LIL FAIMLY. WHILE CHILLLIN AT BLACK STUDIO LIL E WAS COURIOUS ABOUT THE MIC AND SETUP. SO BLACK LAID A FRESH DRUM PATTERN AND PLAYED A FEW KEY AND IN A FEW MIN HAD A LIL BEAT GOING, AND TO BLACK SURPRISE A SESSION STARTED. FIRST FREESTYLING AND EVENTUALLY LEAD TO PEN AND PAPER AND THE TOPIC TO NO SURPRISE ABOUT THE JOB THEY BOTH WORK.
