To avoid any further confusion, I have decided to change my page from a one band profile (Buddy Dughi Combo) to a personal "music" profile, since I am currently involved in several different projects right now. I figured this would be the best way to let you all know what I am doing with the least amount of confusion. First of all I've been playing in the Hot Rod Trio for going on 16 years now and many of you may know we play our own variety of Hi-Octane rockabilly with 3 Cd's under our belt, the latter being a live release on Golly Gee Records. Secondly, in my next project I'm also involved with Golly Gee Records for a solo project of "Hot Rod Rockabilly" with a CD due out very soon. We recorded it at the Famous Mark "Soil of the South" Neill studio for a bit of a traditional take on some more "Hot-Rodded" harder edged rockabilly tunes (all original material). Thirdly, I also play lead "Cliff Gallup style" guitar for my wifes band, Suzy-Q and her Be-Bop Boys (on my friends list). Lastly, I've recently been doing shows as the Buddy Dughi Combo with Hot Rod Trio Drummer, Pete Bonny, Amber Foxx Bassist, Bobby Cavener and Rockabilly Journalist, Mik Homer on rhythm guitar. We have a very authentic 1950's Sun Records sound and play a mixture of crazy cover tunes as well as some original material. Please check out the Golly Gee Records website (www.gollygeerecords.com) or also on my friends list becasue I also have a solo Surf CD out called "Buddy Dughi Plays Hot Rod Surf". As you can see musically, my plate is full, but I am a bottomless pit and I can never get enough GUITAR!!!!.Thanx for supporting my many projects and I hope to see you at a show soon! Buddy
