....................Buddy..Owens.......................................................................... .. .. .... ..Buddy was born in Tulsa and grew up in Owasso, Oklahoma. He started playing guitar, writing, and singing at a young age. After recording a locally successful record with friend Jared Tyler, he decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee. .... Buddy has had much success in Nashville. He has been a staff songwriter for the past six years. He has had 19 of his songs recorded by acts such as: Craig Morgan, Mark Chesnutt, Heartland, and other country artists. Last year, a song he penned with Jason Blaine, a Canadian country artist, called ..“My First Car”.. made it in the Top Ten on Canadian Country Radio. The video was also a success on CMT Canada. .... Buddy and his band play around 160+ shows a year in Nashville, TN. He is continually writing and recording new material. He recently recorded a new project with producer Wayd Battle, who produced Jamey Johnson’s “That Lonesome Song” Record. ....
