   About Buddy Zapata
Two demos have been added. "Blues no.3" feat. Angus Thomas and Victir Bisetti and "She Says" feat. Alvino Bennett and Angus Thomas and Mike Thompson. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "...For bringing his vision to life through his superb songwriting, singing and guitar playing, Zapata should be considered without a doubt, an American original, in the same vein as John Cage, Aaron Copeland, Bob Dylan and Leonard Bernstein." - Dennis Walker --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "This collection of songs is very unique, and that makes it hard to describe. Might be considered a blues album, on another planet. It's fun, honest, and full of suprises. Easy to listen to and it won't be much like anything else in someone's collection. Bluesy guitar, vocals, some aural wierdness. I like it!" - Denny Freeman------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “I started playing with serious intent when I finished school and immediately fell in with some local LA blues acts, people who were much better than I who made me become a better player,” he says of musicians like Charlie Chan, Coco Montoya and Denny Freeman, among others. For the recording of Turo, Buddy was assisted by producer and saxophonist Archie Thompson whose brother Mike Thompson had been a longtime supporter of Buddy’s work. “Archie really helped step things up with his unusual ideas.” Zapata also credits a gang of session players who generously got on board for the project. These days his live band features bassist Angus “Bangus” Thomas (Miles Davis, John Mayall, Albert King) and drummer Phil Bloch “I think of my music as if it’s a curio shop, with broken pieces of dust-covered stuff scattered everywhere, a little bit of this and that, but it all means something to me,” he says.

Mr. Buddy!!

yep, bordello wallpaper has become something of an obsession of mine. I like that if you start at it long enough, it goes 3D on you... no psilocybin necessary.

Buddy,

I think it's been over a year, but with friends like Longhair and Bukka, you don't need to hear from me. :-) Blues No.3 is tight. Hope to catch you again someday.

Hey Uncle Buddy... I'm an aunt now. Let me know if you guys have any advice on corrupting sweet innocent Fundamentalist kids. Subquestion: how old should a kid be before you teach them to chop wood? Hope all is well with the fam, I'm still working on getting those pics of Gramma's dresses to you guys.

waw... sure does suck to be an Asian... every page needs more lemon pledge.. what would happen to my friend Raul if he runs out of lemon pledge... his page will be full of upside down question mark.. just like this one... --> ¿¿¿

These humans have no idea how hard it is to turn a piece of paper upside down, and write a question mark just to make the ¿ mark..No wonder we never understand what they say.. especially those people who uses β in their sentences with the additional of bastardos sign like ♀♂... and the lemon pledge too..
