    Born into a family of ten brothers and sisters, Mr Budgie grew up in Brixton, South London. With his whole family being heavily influenced by music, a future in the industry was a goal he has had since early childhood. With his father being a reverend, he had plenty of involvement with the band and choir of church. Growing up listening to artists such as Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, amongst many other favourites, Mr Budgie's musical interest had truly sparked. By the age of thirteen, he was taking classical piano lessons. His talents developed into composing his own music; his journey to becoming a producer and Hip-Hop artist was well underway. He then caught the attention of a local youth centre after he had managed to produce and complete music demos; using his passion and dedication to even record vocals. His focus and professional approach to music enabled him to build a reputation in his local community, and at the age of seventeen, he went on to pursue a City & Guilds qualification in Sound and Electrical Engineering. Mr Budgie continued to write songs and produce for many local and established artists such as Fierce and So Solid Crew, as well as for himself. It was here that he also began to gain recognition as a Rap artist which complimented his works and skills as a producer. His admiration for other producers like Teddy Riley, Dark Child, Track Masters and Ignorance helped him to define the meaning of original and powerful quality in music making; the late artist Tupac Shakur's poignant and poetic lyrical style resonated deeply with him and his desire to achieve the same powerful messages in his songs became apparent. Between 2008 and 2009, Mr Budgie's projects have included remixes of the singles: 'Whatever you Like' by T.I, 'Womanizer' by Britney Spears, 'If I Was a Boy' by Beyoncé Knowles and 'Bust Your Windows' by Jasmine Sullivan, amongst gaining airplay on Choice FM and Channel U, or what is now known as Channel AKA for a music video production of the single 'On the Road'.
