Many bands have gone on to greater things, for example a little three piece from Teignmouth called MUSE who played at Budstock 97.
Ian Briggs who is arguably the greatest blues harp player in the world,also happens to reside in sunny Budleigh and has graced the stage on several occasions, usually closing the show with his astonishing performances.
Audible porno human beatbox who is now recording in L.A. with urban legends wowed the crowd in 2005.
The Poppycocks, XFM favourites and on the cusp of superstardom.

About me: Budstock festival started 20 years ago and has consistantly showcased the top musical talent that the south west has to offer.
Run by Jolyon and Toby Holroyd and their friends,Jonny Cook,Tim Burley and Gary Ebsworth.
The next Budstock will be the fourteenth and will add another twenty or so bands to the hundred or more that have performed previously.
Toby Holroyd Tragically Died in a road accident in 1995, Budstock continues to be dedicated to his memory.
Budstock has been held indoors and outdoors, though more recently it has enjoyed the beautiful setting of the river Otter delta and Budleigh Salterton beach.

Who I'd like to meet: Budstock would like to meet anyone who feels they would enjoy spending an afternoon sitting in the sun gently quaffing real ale while listening to non stop live musical talent in an idyllic outdoor setting.They would also have to put up with an evening getting sozzled enough to dance like a loon to the more energetic bands who are on later.
They would also have to be the type of person to quietly stagger home soon after midnight without annoying the locals with loud animal imitations and therefore maintaining the chances of future events.
These special people would have to be happy not having to pay a penny for the afternoon/evenings entertainmentIf you can manage all that we will see you there
