Hawaiian guitarists are very scarce. The majority are doubt-
less located in Hawaii. Bud Tutmarc is reputed to be the finest.
He does special things to a melody when he performs --it's
hauntingly beautiful. The way a phrase can be "bent" is a
thing of beauty. I'm immediately transported to the swaying
palms, sunny beaches, and azure skies that make the water a
deep, deep blue...
If you can't afford Hawaii--let the melodies take you there.
