The band was born out of the ashes of Yeah, a glam metal band from the late 80's, and it found its way in the AOR and the hard rock. Lady Macbeth makes its debut on September 22nd, 2000, under the name of MACBETH. The first demo was recorded in 2002. After this, the band had a recess and Astroboy joined in the SENSACIONAL PLASMA automatically with which he gave severals shows (he stood out for the opening session for Michael Monroe (lead voice of Hanoi Rocks) at the Roxy, and for Vince Neil at Obras stadium) The differences in the musical orientation with Plasma led to the departure of Astroboy and the re birth of Macbeth.
Under the definitive name of Lady Macbeth, the band went into the recording studio once again to record the firt album at Bourbon Records Studio (Ep Lady Macbeth 2005) with five songs of the band's authorship. The modifications in the formation of the group and the musicians' search for achieving a balance in the project delayed but did not stop the work of the band.
At the begining of 2008, the band began to record "Eye of the Moon" with the artistic production of Damian Torrisi (Bourbon Records). During this period, the songs of previous albums were played in different radio stations from Argentina and other countries . The welcome of Lady Macbeth's work in Mexico, Spain, Germany, among others, should be remarked. Even the old EP has been disseminated spontaneusly among various web sites sepecialized in hard rock, AOR and heavy metal with good critics and encouraging interest. But the changes went on. By the end of the recording of Eye of the Moon, two covers were registered for compilation albums, personal versions of the classic "Diamonds and Rust" by Joan Baez (and popularized by Judas Priest), "Give me more time" by Whitesnake and the pop classic "Bette Davis' eyes" performed by Kim Carnes in the 80..s. Culminating in the summer of 2009, Lady Macbeth finished the recording of "Eye of the Moon". At present, Lady Macbeth is working on new songs while they promote their debut album "Eye of the Moon".

Actor to play Layne Staley's character is "Lathan McKay". A very special role has been designated to "Cara Mastrey" as Ghost Demri. "Elise Muller" as Liz Elmer. We can't reveal the entire cast now. Please be patient. We have selected a number of bands for the movie, they are: "INK" from Greece providing two soundtracks and singer Chris Tsantalis for a scene. "Motherwiser" from Buenos Aires, Argentina for one scene. "Khaos Theory" from Chicago, IL providing two soundtracks. Singer Aaron Barrera of Murder My Sweet a band from Austin, TX for a scene. This biopic is being made in a very independent way. We are fully determined to do it. We won't allow any brainwashed Hollywood clown to make fun of Layne's story or put him only in a "junkie" spotlight. We spent enough time trying to explain what the movie is about. It was all in vain. We have sadly learned that for Hollywood Layne Staley is another overdosed rock star. They don’t want to show him differently or should we say…they don’t want you to see the real side of the story. This is one of the main reasons why we have delayed the movie development process. Now, we have found the right people to work with. They like the story concept and fully respect our decisions.
