Somewhere between the organic funk of old time and the soulful sophistication of bluegrass
Buffalo Creek Stringband is Jack Burgess, Annie Griffey, Joy Moser and Scott Dixon. They play string band music of the Appalachian Mountains. Old-time songs, fiddle tunes, and mountain ballads with a touch of early bluegrass and country music. Timeless music sung with spirit and mountain soul.
Buffalo Creek continues a musical legacy that dates back to this early music, where fiddles could be found throughout the Southern Appalachians. Fiddles were played in people's homes for dances and for pleasure, at community work gatherings and for special celebrations. Songs and singing was also a mainstay in many of the mountain communities in Appalachia, where singing is as common and almost as widespread a tradition as spoken language.
Buffalo Creek enjoys carrying on this rich musical tradition as they play for contra & square dances, schools and educational programs, private parties and concert venues.

Weary Woman Blues
A band from Concord, North Carolina, playing tunes with a feeling somewhere between the organic funk of old time, and the soulful sophistication of bluegrass.
Buffalo Creek Stringband is fronted by two great female harmony vocals, singing traditional old-timey country tunes. Think early Hazel and Alice with a heavy dose of Carter Family, Ola Belle Reed and Kitty Wells.
This CD includes a healthy mix of vintage Carter-Country, Appalachian Fiddle tunes, Vern-grass, and Hillbilly blues. Joy and Annie's voices are simple, with backroad textures, they blend beautifully together. They are backed by Alabama state fiddle champ Jackie Burgess and Scott Dixon and banjo.

Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
