About me:
The Buffalo Exchange was started in 1974 in Tucson, AZ by Kerstin and Spencer Block. Kerstin, a huge thrift store shopper, opened the store in a 390 sq. ft. space. By 1982 they had two AZ stores and their first out of state store. In August of 1995 one of the first franchise stores was opened in Boulder, CO. P. Todd Colletti and Kathy Plache opened what would be the first CO store on 1717 Walnut St. The store is still in that location today and will celebrate its 10th birthday this summer. Denver was next on the map. The infamous LoDo store opened at 15th and Market in 1996. The store remained there until 1999, when it was moved to its current location: 230 E 13th Ave in the heart of Capitol Hill. Last year Todd and Kathy opened their third Buffalo franchise in Fort Collins. August also marks the one year birthday of that store...
