Founded in 1871, Buffalo State College is now the largest four year college in the State University of New York (SUNY). Located in the heart of Buffalo's chic Elmwood shopping district, the college is home to more than 11,000 students.

    As the time goes on economics may move some professional sports teams out of the Buffalo, NY area. If that happens and the focus moves to collegiate sports ..there is only one true College that reflects the city of Buffalo, That is Buff State.
