How BuffMother! Began:
In just 4 short years I became the mother to 4 children! As you can imagine, I spent every moment of my days selflessly caring for my family and finding time for myself was impossible. I was a physical and mental mess: out of shape, over weight, overwhelmed, overstressed, tired, and on the verge of depression. I was too busy to eat right and the thought of exercise was frustrating and seemingly pointless. It was then that I hit rock bottom. One day I stood toe to toe looking at my battle scarred body in the mirror: My round face, blood shot eyes, dull lifeless hair, flabby arms, fat stretched out stomach, flat butt and shapeless legs were just a shell of the “looker” I was just 6 years earlier. Who was this person in the mirror? Was I a mere slave to the needs of my family? How was I going to get the true Michelle back? It was then that I decided to prove to myself and everyone else that I could regain control of my body and my life.
With the frustration of my recent fitness failures fresh in my mind, I threw out the popular fitness routines and diets. I then designed a unique program that addressed my body’s loss of shape, my malnutrition, my hormones and the time constrains now affecting me as a mother. I also learned to treat my workout as my “sanctuary time”; I found an escape from the chaos of my life and took time to focus on just me. After several months of intense workouts and fierce determination, my plan worked. I became happier, healthier, more confident, and was terribly excited about having the best figure of my life. I was now living proof that it is possible to have a beautiful figure after having children!
Invigorated by my new found life, my mission became to share hope with every mother that they too can regain their figures, enjoy their lives and leave a legacy of fitness to their children. Using my testimony as inspiration in conjunction with the methods of my unique fitness program, I founded my company BuffMother in 2004! BuffMother! now impacts mothers from all 50 states, Canada and 10 countries around the world! My mission is to help every mother by being a role model, teacher, motivator, advocate and friend.

Sometimes when i look around, all i see is misery, despair, frustration and pain...
Then, i close my eyes, take a couple deep breaths, RELAX...And ask myself, "WHAT IF all I saw was what I WANTED TO SEE?" Then, I open my eyes. I see the sun, I see the blue sky, I see my girls smiling back at me, I see life...
And then, lo and behold, I see nothing but OPPORTUNITY...
