Saturday, May 16, 2009
Buford Pusser Beauty Pageant ages 0 thru Mrs. starting at 4 pm at "The Marty" Adamsville Community Center. Entry fee is $15. After May 11 fee will be $20. Entry Forms are available at City Hall and at the Buford Pusser Home and Museum. For more information please call City Hall at 731-632-1401 or the museum at 731-632-4080.
Wednesday, May 20, 2009 Carnival begins tonight and continues each night thru the close of the festival on Saturday night. Wednesday - Friday open at 5pm, Saturday open at 10 am. Arm Bands available each day and cost $12. On Saturday arm bands are available from 10am - 4pm and 5pm - closing. The Midway will be closed from 4pm - 5pm on Saturday. That is a $12 cost for each time frame. Wrestling at 7pm.

"Music in the Park" with hits from the 50s and 60s under the pavilion at 7 pm featuring "The Cadillacs". To continue with the theme there will also be a Bop Contest and 50s Best Dressed.

The "Adamsville Idol" talent contest with $500 in cash prizes at 6pm under the pavilion at the Buford Pusser Park.
BUS TOUR: If you would like to visit the Buford Pusser related sites in the area please call 731-632-4080 for more information. The cost is $40 and includes lunch (which will be served in the courtoom). The tour will be led by Buford's daughter Dwana Pusser and Buford Pusser Historian Steve Sweat and will leave from the Buford Pusser Home and Museum at 9:30 am.

Car Show: This year's car show will be handled locally by Melanie and Aubrey King and includes autos, motorcycles, and antique tractors. Entry fee is $20. For more information on the car show please call Melanie at 731-697-9149 or Aubrey at 731-658-6034. You may also email Melanie at melaniepking@yahoo.com Judging begins at 12 noon with awards at 3 pm.

11 am - Opening Cermornies
2 pm - "Music in the Park" Featuring: Will Reynolds "Teen King" from Mt. Vernon, KY and Kevin Curtis Tribute Artist from Tupelo, MS. You will not want to miss these two entertainers.
5 pm - Storytelling at Buford Pusser Home and Museum featuring Jack Coffman (one of Buford's closest friends) and Steve Sweat (Buford Pusser Historian).
5 pm - Clay Wagoner Memorial Bluegrass Show
