My Interests:
My children, motorcycles, computers (webpage design), my Jack Russell Terrier, reading sci-fi and
horror, electronics and metalworking. And of course, my loving and understanding wife who puts up with all my
crap...
My motorcycles:
2002 Kawasaki Nomad fully dressed to the hilt...
1990 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 with a bad case of CLAP...
Modern / New Country music
Some 90's alternative, 80's rock and Texas rock-n-blues bar music (ie: Mingo Fishtrap and Speer)
Sometimes just the weird stuff I find on the Sirius Satellite radio.
Movies
Last really good movie I saw was Pitch Black...
Television
My Name is Earl, CSI LV, The Shield, Scrubs, Family Guy, Boston Legal, British shows (Coupling, Vicar of Dibley, ABFAB, Hex, Torchwood and others) and quality sci-fi.
Don't like the new Dr. Who and I really hate those loser reality shows. If they want to show reality, then let them tape me and my friends because that would be reality...
Books
Quality sci-fi and modern horror - no fantasy crap... A good sci-fi military book will hold my interest. But I absolutly hate fansasy books.
If you put a few elves and fairies in the lot, I throw the crap away...
I'm beginning to appreciate some of the modern horror books about things that go
bump in the night. Just don't turn it into a romantic vampire lust book.
Heroes
Our men and women in the US Military and anybody who helps other people who are in need...
I'm a married father of two. I work hard, play hard and try to enjoy every moment of life. Don't mistake my playful side for stupidity or my intense nature as rudeness, I just don't look at everyday life in the same light as those more serious then I. I won't tolerate liars, users or fake people. Be honest with me and I'll be honest with you - sometimes brutally honest - but honest just the same. Screw me over and you have lost my trust forever...
My personal slogan is "Life is too short to drink bad beer!!!" but I should add "and one should never go through it with ones head up their arse... So relax and enjoy the ride - you won't get out of it alive..."
Who I'd like to meet:
I've met enough "famous" people to realize that they are just people and should not be pursued or worshipped. I have no "list" of people I'd
like to meet. Once in a while, I meet a notable person and we might chat and then go on our way. The best people to meet are honest everyday people that are not on anyone's radar. Those are the people who make a difference in life and are the ones to associate with… Not the TV trash like Paris and Brittany.
You might notice that I do have some celib's in my "my friends" area. These are not people that I would like to meet, just favorite artists that I am watching to see when they are in the area in concert. I doubt that I would personally have anything profound to say to them in person and just want to enjoy their music.
IN THESE GARDENS ARE RECORDED THE NAMES OF AMERICANS WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY AND WHOSE EARTHLY RESTING PLACE IS KNOWN ONLY TO GOD
