BULLET FOR YOUR GUN is a short film by writer/director Alex Johnson and Producer Rachael Castell.
Set in 2007's Shoreditch, London's much touted square mile of creativity, BULLET FOR YOUR GUN follows the lives of a group of twenty-something locals over one evening; taking an acerbic look at what it's really like to live, work and party in The Scene.
Having been residents for some time, Alex (Head of New Media at Adventure Pictures) and Rachael (Producer, East End Film Festival) are lucky to have many of the scene's key bands, musicians, creatives, performers and venues involved.
The film features Casting by Jezebelle la Pixi (Kinki/Ma Mignonnette), and Laura Trouble (The Dolly Rockers), Costumes by Ellen Crawshaw (Beyond Retro), Art Direction by Mitch Crease (Riot Fever), Stills by The Mofo, Artwork provided by GoldTooth, Music Supervision by Stephen Basford (No Picasso) and music from Screaming Ballerinas, Objects, Gray Crayon, and more.
Those who know the area should have fun with the references and cameos. For everyone else, let it be the start of an education.

We are currently in pre-production and will be shooting week beginning Monday 11th June 2007 for several days. Message us if you would like to be involved.
Casting
We're casting local talent in all the roles. Come down to our open casting at the Brady Arts Centre, Bethnal Green, anytime from 12pm – 7pm, Wednesday 6th June 2007 to read/meet us.
We are looking for everything from full speaking parts to one-liners, male and female, 18 – 35 years. No experience needed, just enthusiasm! Contact us for more details or just turn up on the day.
