Going with the flow, making lemonade, and throwing back every curveball I can.
Music
I grew up on country, discovered oldies in my tweens, and got obsessed with pop in my teens. I listen to anything and everything, with a majority of folk and country taking up my MP3 player.
Movies
Everything that doesn't have gratuitous heterosexual kissing. Specifically, A Family Affair and Loving Annabelle, two movies I can quote by heart and never get tired of watching.
Television
Don't have a TV and don't have much patience for various networks' websites, but I'll watch Fringe to be drawn in, Women's Murder Club to oogle Angie Harmon, Family Guy to laugh at ridiculous things, and The Simpsons to have something to talk about with my 15-year-old brother.
Books
I read everything that's put in front of me. Menus, newspapers, signs. A summer afternoon with ice cream and a good book with the window open is my idea of what heaven might be like.
Heroes
Anyone who lives their life in a way that makes it easier to let others live theirs.
Failure is not falling down; it is remaining where you have fallen. Unknown
There is no such thing as separate but equal. There is only separate or equal. Mayor Jerry Sanders
Run if you cannot fly. If you cannot run, walk. If you cannot walk, crawl. But above all, keep moving. Martin Luther King, Jr.
I love my life and the people in it.
I might not always be happy, but I am always content.
Someday I will write novels in a small coffeehouse.
The majority of my closest friends are on the other side of the continent.
Just when you've figured me out, I change.
I'm a fan of combining books and cuddling with a certain girl on rainy days.
I hate few, like many, love little, and trust none.
Icons, caffeine, quotes, nicotine, and lesbian pulp fiction are my addictions.
I'm a drama queen who's learned how to handle herself so now people simply believe I'm "passionate" about everything.
In the same vein, I enjoy drama that I can control, so long as it doesn't hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it.
I'm a total mama's girl.
When anyone says something that's hilarious when taken out of context, I'm the person who yells "That's going on Facebook!"
If I voluntarily hug you, you know you've won me over.
If I clean, I'm stressed.
If I cook, it is a rule of life that I am opening myself to teasing regarding my domestication.
I live with someone who occasionally drives me nuts, makes me smile every day, and gives me strength when I most need it. She's my girlfriend, the love of my life, my best friend, and our second chance is the thing I'm most grateful for.
Tell me I can't do something and I'll do it just for spite.
You've never met anyone like me.
Hey you! Nah I won't be too busy. Im not even sure when she's going to be home whether it be in the afternoon or late tonight. So just let me know when to get on msn and I'll sign on. Lurvs too.
Alright, kinda mad =/ We had a party to wrap up the child development unit in my 6th period today, we had kids from ages 4-6. I love little kids, and I was telling Savana that whose a friend of mine in that class. And she said "You'll never have kids, government wont let you."
Hey. Thanks for the comment. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've been busy and getting sidetracked. Colorado is pretty awesome. It's really nice weather down here. I'm still having a hard time finding a job and making friends, but that's normal in a new place I would think. Ian's family is amazing. I love his mom and sisters. (I live with them). Things are alright. Stressful, but good. How are you and your girly? What's your living situation now? Hope things are going well. Thanks again for the comment. Take care.
Thats a good idea and I'm glad you're gonna have some money until then.
I'm really sorry things are hard for you right now. I know how you feel. It's hard to get a job over here and Ian and I don't work and we have no money. I hate not being able to pay his mom some kind of rent and not being able to pay our bills.
