They are Bullets Over Beauty, a name with many meanings; yet there is one that rules them all, the need to penetrate ears by impaling them with their unique brand of Rock. They will punish with malicious musical persistence but then soothe with angelic melodies. Formed in the winter of 2007, what began as a means to fill a void, continued into an obsession of musical camaraderie. Steffyn (vocals/guitar) had just staved off another bout of cancer and was eager to combine his life and music experiences into song. He decided to contact an old friend, Jay (guitar), to help in immersing himself back into the music scene. As luck would have it, Jay was not bound to a band and was at that time jamming with Adam (drums). They eventually came together to find instant chemistry among them. Glenn (bass) was then inserted to round out the quartet. All hailing from different musical backgrounds, from Metal to Theatre, they bring a wide range of influences to the table. With the band's second EP ready to hit Vancouver, Bullets Over Beauty is poised to take a major chunk out of the music industry.
