One word can describe the upcoming EP: quicksand. Through every crack and crevice it fills your person - like a welcomed drowning in hard, quagmire audio. But there’s nothing soothing about this sound, it’s visceral, it will keep you on edge all the while it hits you well balanced and in all four corners of your netherbrain. You'll find comfort in the eeriness because it was always in you - they just brought it out.
My bad... I'm not that good with the video camera. I don't even know if I have the proper wires to link my camera and computer together. I do a lot better with my digital camera. I'll try...
Hey seeing you three lonely bullfighters on Anna's b-day dinner brought back so many memories....Of course all happy ones!!!!!! No matter how hard we all try.....It will never be the same or even come close. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!! RIP---DEEPS!!!!
I will be back in Seattle on April 1st...And I would love to see you all...I brought you all a little something from India. I am now in England, but do not have any more space to take anymore things from here for anyone. India is where we took Deepai, so I thought it would be special to get you all something from there.
Oh my god, I can't believe Deepai is gone. I'm so sorry to hear that. I met you guys auditioning to be your bass player a couple of years ago. Deeps was an awesome guy and a true talent and I'm really gonna miss him.
I met you all when my band, The Kelly Affair, played at the Blue Moon in Seattle a couple summers ago. I'm really, really sorry to hear about your loss. I'm actually speechless. Stay strong & keep your heads up. Again, I'm so sorry to hear the bad news.
Some people may say that you could've made it really far....others will know that you did. And now you can put it all aside and drink it all in....y'know, look back and laugh at the rough times and the good ones. I'll always remember when we got up early (musician time) to drive several hours to go play our music to a buncha snack vendors and peddlars in Zilla, WA. I just thought you should know I had a blast! Sorry about the speeding ticket....hell, fuck the speed limit anyway! right brother?
You're a strong brave motherfucker who wrestled life like it was a bull..."fighting" might not be the right word....there is a Japanese word Kuzushi that I think describes it very well. It's the fine art of using your opponent's own force to your benefit by guiding and redirecting it's energy....much like a BullFighter....much like you brother! And for that, you will be missed. May you rest in peace and may I see you on another plane.
Deeps always had a kind heart, a great smile which he showed often, a thankful and gracious spirit. He was an "Old Soul" whose words of deep wisdom always amazed and inspired. I feel very blessed to have been called his friend and honored to have been one of his "Favorite Nurses."
The Lord must have great plans for him, He called him home way too soon. Deeps will be very deeply missed, and lovingly remembered always.
