I am married to a wonderful lady named Kristen. We have been married nearly four years. I graduated from Columbia International University with my Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Formation. I also finished a chaplaincy residency at Palmetto Health. Now I work at Harmony Care Hospice as a Chaplain. I love being a Chaplain because I hear stories and journeys from many different backgrounds and how it shapes their present attitude. It allows me to meet people where they are at whether it be a place of need or a place of joy. It is one of the most holy places I have experienced.
I served 9.5 years active duty Air Force and over 5 years Air Force Reserves. I started off Security Police babysitting nuclear missiles and then became a training manager. I am currently working to become a Chaplain in the Air Force.
I am a Christian and I love God. He has done so many remarkable things in my life and I know I am not worth it but He loves me because I am His own. If you don't know Jesus and you would like to, please let me know. I would love to introduce you to Him. He gave you a lot and it doesn't cost you a thing.
Who I'd like to meet: With the ability to put friends in categories I am looking for anyone who would like to engage in a discussion about life and God, connecting with Him, others, and ourselves as He intended.
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. MERRY CHRISTMAS
[1] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

"The Harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few." Matthew 9:37
[8] And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. [9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. [10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. [11] But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. [12] Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. [13] I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; [14] That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
[20] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; [21] And having an high priest over the house of God; [22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [24] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. [26] For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, [27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
7 Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. 8 Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.
Love is like a butterfly in so many, many ways. It brings a bit of sunshine even on gloomy days. It makes our souls feel lighter just to know it's there And gives our spirits wings, as if floating in the air. It carries us to places that we never knew before And comes in many sizes, shapes and hues galore.
Once we've seen it, we wish to hold onto it so tight But like a frail butterfly, we must allow it free flight, For if we should try to cage it up and hold it in a pen, We'll surely crush its wings, and it'll never fly again. To keep that love glowing in our hearts each day, We must remember always to give some of it away.
Every little bit we give to someone else to share Comes back tenfold, and we've so much to spare. Put your love on gossamer wings, and give it flight; It will return to you, and bring you much delight.
Jeremiah, Trials and Tribulations will either make us More Holy, or More Sinful depending [GREATLY] on our Relationship to God/with God, Amen? Because when testings come (and they WILL come "IF" you are Walking right), WE will either TRUST God's purposes and FIND Peace, OR "we" can Trust in our OWN plans, start walking in the "Vanity of our mind", thereby developing a NEGATIVE OUTLOOK or DISPOSITION and thus DEVELOPING A BITTER, and CYNICAL heart. We may NOT like our situation (and in MOST cases "we" WON'T), BUT, because WE "Are CHRISTIANS"; because we are a "Chosen Generation; because we are a Royal Priesthood; because we are a Holy Nation and a Peculiar People"...WE... "SHOULD"... LOVE...GOD and WE...MUST...TRUST..."HIS"...WILL FOR OUR LIVES!
The Bible says "And going a little further, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me, nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire" (Matt.26:39 AMP).
The Bible also says "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome" (Jer.29:11 AMP).
Is that where the phrase "Trusting God's Purposes" came from......Hmmm?!!?
Not a Sermon, Just a recent Revelation. YBIC, Richard -aka- MEGA VOICES GOLD!

1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God's
sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our
Lord has done for us.2 Because of our faith, Christ
has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now
stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's
glory. 3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.5 And
this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God
loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts
with his love.
17 But you, my dear friends, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ said.18 They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires.19 These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God's Spirit in them. 20 But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit,*21 and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God's love. 22 And you must show mercy to* those whose faith is wavering.23 Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others,* but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.*
19 Why,
then, was the law given? It was given alongside the promise to show
people their sins. But the law was designed to last only until the
coming of the child who was promised. God gave his law through angels
to Moses, who was the mediator between God and the people.20 Now
a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement.
But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to
Abraham. 21 Is
there a conflict, then, between God's law and God's promises?*
Absolutely not! If the law could give us new life, we could be made
right with God by obeying it.22 But the Scriptures
declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God's promise
of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.
