Matias Aguayo, Eugenia Caloso, Pablo Castoldi y Gary Pimiento hacen las bumbumbox en Buenos Aires y también en otras ciudades (Montevideo, Santiago, Río de janeiro, Asunción de Paraguay, Medellín, Bogotá). Llevan sus grabadores (boombox) a un espacio público donde junto a invitados y transeuntes se genera una fiesta espontanea. La música esta preparada de antemano y vía reproductor de Mp3 es lanzada a los equipos de audio que están conectados en línea para sumar fuerza. Djs amigos de todo el mundo colaboran preparando sus sets en casa y luego enviándolos vía internet para luego almacenarlos en el corazón de nuestra fiesta. Cada equipo con sus diez pilas, la aventura de habitar las calles, de hacer amigos mediante el baile y el disfrute de la música, son los ingredientes para estas fiestas que de día o de noche se quedan fuera del negocio del entretenimiento. Matias Aguayo, Eugenia Caloso, Pablo Castoldi and Gary Pimiento do the bumbumbox in the city of Buenos Aires, and sometimes abroad, takin their boomboxes to a public space where together with invited friends and passer-bys a spontaneous party is celebrated. The music comes from an mp3-player connected to the soundsystem. It features dj sets from friends all over the world, who prepare their short sets at home and send them to us via internet. these sets are placed in the heart of our party. Each boombox, loaded with 10 batteries, the adventure of taking a public space, makin friends thru dancing and enjoying music are the ingredients of these parties, which celebrated in daytime or during the night, take place beyond the entertainment business.
