What is love?
Training the Mind
We create reality thru thought! this understanding stresses the importance of disciplining mind to focus on what you intend to experience in life...
You may wish to try the exercise I used to train my mind when I first realized thought created my reality!
Firts I placed a rubber band around my wrist... then I set out a tablet a line drawn down the middle... on each side I marked Positive and Negative columns - then I set the kitchen timer at random and went about my daily chores... when the buzzer sounded, I examined what I was thinking at that time... if it was a constructive/positive thought, I checked the appropriate
column! If it was negative or worrisome, I snapped the rubber band and checked the proper box! Then I reset the timer again at random! I did this throughout the day... Note: I was a stay at home mom at the time, so this helped lots...
At first... about 90%+ of the thoughts ended up being negative - worrisome or fearful... as the experiment went on for several months, I was pleased to note more and more checkmarks on the positive side of the tablet! I was also noting positive results in my life experiences...
I did this 11 months total for I was serious about this disipline - knowing it was important for my spiritual growth!
