"bunnydrums first appearance was a 1980 opening on a PERE UBU bill at philadelphia's starlite ballroom where arriving and departing was something of a small victory." *phila.citypaper* "a skilled visionary band," *trouser press* "the best kept secrets of early 80's indie music" *fac193* released two E.P.'s, two L.P.'s, and toured the U.S. and Europe; sharing stages with BAUHAUS, the CULT, GANG of 4, PYLON, TUXEDOMOON, and REM. quietly disbanding in 1986, the "kings of shamanistic post-punk" "did nothing less than become one of the greatest and most overlooked groups of their time." *technopunkmusic.com*

ending a 20 year hiatus on bastille day 2006 ... "the best post-punk band in the U.S." *sound choice* return; "muscular, forceful, intense." *big takeover* "getting a second chance at pop greatness - a good sequel when that first shot was so amazing - is rare. bunnydrums were in full future-forward flower ... akin to shoving KILLING JOKE up SUICIDE's ass and shitting out pieces of CAN and WIRE...but better...and prettier." *phila.citypaper*
YOU'RE BACK! It said as much at lastfm - and here you are. I saw you guys at the I-Beam in San Francisco about 20 (F***!) years ago. It was exceptional. Thank you, Bunnydrums. Along with Sonic Youth, My Dad Is Dead, Mark Pauline, and Glenn Branca, you made the 80s a dark and strange sci-fi post-punk dreamland. Your music inspired me then and continues to inspire me today.
Wow Bunnydrums & King of Siam... All we need now is The Stickmen & the Heathens & 3rd Street Jazz to Reopen! Cool bill, We'll be there.

You are the epitomal underground legend of US post punk. i bought the Holy Moly record in 1984 in Boston after hearing it on WZBC (a lot). There were a few large parties featuring some of this record at full volume and it probably contributed to much of my deliquency as a teen. Not too many records can claim that.
Hope you keep doing your own thing on the next record. Originality was one of your strongest assets.
