I am so sorry that Weber didn't make it through the surgery. He was a beautiful boy. You did your best by him and now he is at the rainbow bridge. You have our thoughts and prayers.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

OMG. That nearly brings me to tears. I am so sorry to hear that Weber has passed... How horrible it must be for you, especially during this time of the year when Christmas is nearly 5 days away. I know how it is to lose a beloved pet. You have my sympathy, dear, and I hope you are okay...
I am so sorry to hear that Weber died. He was so precious. At least he likely didn't feel any pain when he died. Also, he was very well loved while living. I agree that mammals have feelings too. You took care of Weber the best way you possible could. It was admirable that you took care of him the way you did. Some people would have just let him die and not take him to the vet. You obviously care for animals. God bless you!

Hi, Weber! I hope you are doing well. I am so excited! I think our Mommy is going to the pet store this weekend to get Christmas presents. We may even get ours early. I hope I get one of those hanging things that have wooden blocks and bells on them. Ebunny hopes to get something to throw around. Houdini hopes to also get something that rings and to chew on. I hope that you will be able to play with your gifts even though you aren't feeling good. I bet it is tough with your mouth being sore and all. We are still thinking about you.

Hey, Weber! We hope you are feeling well! We hope you have a great Christmas despite not feeling your best. Maybe you will get something for Christmas. Our Mommy said that she is going to get us something for Christmas. We love her a lot because she treats us like family. We even get Christmas presents. According to her dachshund, Slinkie, she even wraps the gifts sometimes. We probably won't get to unwrap them ourselves, since we love to eat paper too much. Ha ha! We don't know if we are getting a toy or something to eat. Either one is fine with us. We hope you will enjoy your gift even if you don't feel well. Knowing that you're loved will make you happy the most. Love is the greatest gift! We will tell Mommy what to write you later.
tell your mum to go and talk to the good people at alt.pets.rabbits (newsgroup). look for nona. she helps with a fund that supports families with bunnies that need surgery but can't afford it.
my lil bunny just underwent two abcess surgeries this year - and one the previous year. izzy (RIP) had three as well. they are tough tough tough but so worthwhile for our little loved ones.
