A Lamb for my Scourging came into existence in the dry, dusty deserts of New Mexico in the year 2008. Guitarist Mike Apodaca met drummer Dave Lisle through mutual friends, and they came together with one sole purpose...playing explosive hard-core metal music that would glorify God and bring others to His glorious kingdom, while making them slam dance and mosh. They tried out a couple of different singers, but did not find a perfect fit for the band and it's mission until Bones (Tom Little) came along. Between the three members, a brutal sound was formed, with ear-piercing guitar grooves, bone-crushing drum beats, and fierce, sometimes scary screams. Now the only missing part of the equation was infectious, face-melting bass grooves. In January of 2009, the final piece of the puzzle fell into place, when Dal Haynes answered the calling and became A Lamb for my Scourging's bass player. A Lamb for my Scourging dropped their demo CD "God Save Us" in February of 2009, which was received with much approval by the supportive masses of New Mexico and elsewhere. Now all that remains to be seen is the future of this promising band, as they continue to pump out ferocious new songs, and light up stages and audiences with their intense and spiritual live performances.In August of 2009 Bones and his family followed God's calling to North Carolina and our love goes with them. So Jake Gramberg came in and took over the screaming duties and we are looking for another guitarist to add another dynamic to the band!
