Hey everyone my name is Dave and I am a sinner but everyday I work twords a sinless existence(its impossible but one can try!) Without the grace of God I would not be here. He saved my life and thats all there is to it. I have lived a sinful meaningless life causing great pain in everyone's lives that I hold near and dear and a lot of people I have never met as well. I was drugs, sex, a satanist, law breaker, etc. You've heard the story before but I tell you if you live that kind of existence and have Jesus come into your life and change all that then you could understand why it is so remarkable to me and others like me that have been washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ. I have been down many roads in my life but this one is the hardest, most rewarding, NARROW road I have ever taken. Please if you are heading down all those other roads dont reach the end of them like I did and they all have an end and it is not emotionally, spiritually or physically gratifing. Its pain and torment and very lonley at the end if you make it there alive. Feel free to contact me if you would like to talk cause there is a good chance I would understand and I make a pretty good listener. So consider you ways then consider the one way- Jesus Christ.

Burdened By Flesh came into existence in the dry, dusty deserts of New Mexico in the year 2008. Guitarist Mike Apodaca met drummer Dave Lisle through mutual friends, and they came together with one sole purpose...playing explosive hard-core metal music that would glorify God and bring others to His glorious kingdom, while making them slam dance and mosh. They tried out a couple of different singers, but did not find a perfect fit for the band and it's mission until Bones (Tom Little) came along. Between the three members, a brutal sound was formed, with ear-piercing guitar grooves, bone-crushing drum beats, and fierce, sometimes scary screams. Now the only missing part of the equation was infectious, face-melting bass grooves. In January of 2009, the final piece of the puzzle fell into place, when Dal Haynes answered the calling and became Burdened By Flesh's bass player. Burdened By flesh dropped their demo CD "God Save Us" in February of 2009, which was received with much approval by the supportive masses of New Mexico and elsewhere. Now all that remains to be seen is the future of this promising band, as they continue to pump out ferocious new songs, and light up stages and audiences with their intense and spiritual live performances.In August of 2009 Bones and his family followed God's calling to North Carolina and our love goes with them. So Jake Gramberg came in and took over the screaming duties and we are looking for another guitarist to add another dynamic to the band!

We are looking for talent to finish out our year. And man do we want to go out rockin!! We are shooting on Sat for the rest of the year: Nov:14th. Dec: 5th,12th.19th the time would be from 3pm-6pm. Please let me know which date works best for you!
Fear has been trying to enter my heart as I look around at the darkness that is attempting to cover the earth. I remember in the 70's thinking, "How much worse can it get?" But I am reminded of Someone named Jesus. He came to bring His light where there is darkness. On the day He died, the darkness was manifested as the sky became black while He was dying for all of us. He dispelled the darkness as it crept into the atmosphere when He was resurrected. Before His crucifixion, He proclaimed, I am the Light of the World. So,as we see darkness rising just remember His Light is greater. His love is purer. His victory is coming. This morning, I saw this verse, and it just lept out-----
Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you, and HIS GLORY will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Is 60:1-3
As I was just about to post this, I was reminded of the song, This lttle light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. I think we should change one word in it. Instead of "little" light, it should be "big" Light. We have the Light of the World living within us. As we allow Him to live through us, millions of huge spotlights are going to help those who are in darkness find the Way, the Truth and the Life, JESUS. And I'm praying this Light will be so bright that it will blind the enemies and send them into confusion.
There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
