.. .... ..THE BURDEN was formed in February 2007. The band consisted of Stefano - guitar, David - drums, Max - bass, Gilles - vocals, Marc - guitar playing modern metal incorporating thrashy and melodic riffs as well as death metal borrowings. The same year, a demo containing four tracks, was recorded and engineered by François Dediste at his home studio. The Burden played its first gigs at the very end of 2007 and has since then played with bands like Fast Friday, Ex Inferis, Length Of Time, Ensis, Retrace My Fragments, Inhatred, All Of Them, Vhan, Embraced By Hatred, Everwaiting Serenade, Miles To Perdition, Black Out Beauty, Last Breath Messiah, Left Hand Path... A first line-up change occurred in early 2009, when our mate Max (bass) quit the band for personal reasons. In April 2009, we found a new bass-player in the person of Yves "Chilli-Chill". Recently, the band parted ways with Marc and Gilles. We are actually looking for a new vocalist... ..
