Buried Future was formed in the summer of 2005 by lead guitarist Bobby de la O, drummer Phil Harrelson. Soon after joined rhythm guitarist Jesse Hendrix, followed by bassist Andy Knutson. Their sound comes from the culturally-rich music epicenter of the Midwest, Madison, WI, and has just the right mix of passion and conviction, along with a unique, driving creativity. This has earned them the title of ‘Madison’s most brutal technical death metal band’ , and has helped them to be well-received by crowds everywhere they go.
After being in the metal scene for less than one year offers to open up for such national acts as Deicide and Armored Saint began rolling in. This spawned the precursing 3-song demo to their currently, in-progress first full-length album. The song ‘Vivisection’ has really marked their evolved sound, which came from their more thrash-oriented songs ‘Suffer the Children’, and ‘A Means to an End’. Once the first round of demos and press kits began circulation they were invited to play an on-air live-set on 91.7 WSUM in Madison. Buried Future has also seen support for their music in other portions of the country by signing with a production company known as Versailles Records, which will be featuring them on a cd to be released late ’07 – early ’08.
Buried Future will continue to make awesome technical fucking death metal, no matter what.
