About me:

Gender: Bitch/Butch

Sexual Orientation: I prefer females. You got a problem with that?

Age: Street-Legal

Signs: Blood-spatter, chalk outlines, involuntarily donated organs

City: NYC

State: Readiness

Territory: Back alleys, car trunks, and rooftops

Favorite Meal: Any kind of fast food, especially fleeing felons.

Favorite Movie: Hey, I look stupid to you?

Favorite Comic: Shaolin Cowboy. The Mule rules!

Favorite Book: Modesty prevents me from mentioning the Burke series by Andrew Vachss, who communicates pretty good ... for a human.

Favorite Hatred: Bullies.

Favorite Hobby: Explaining this up-close-and-personal.

Stupidest Laws: Banning dogs by breed. If humans can't be "born bad," why do you think dogs can, you morons?

Favorite Politician: George Bush, because he proves humans shouldn't be allowed to make laws (see above).

Personal Credo: Behavior is the truth

The Truth About Love

Listen up, dawgs! Nobody marks *my* spot. (Translated into human: Nobody tags*my* wall.) First time, the tag gets erased. Second time, you do. All clear, now?

Who I'd like to meet:

Listen up, fools! This is MySpace, not MySpam. If you're "keeping it real" so much, how about actually reading my profile before sending me your latest "sounds"? That's what iTunes is for, turkeys. (Okay, so puns aren't my strong point, but at least I can tell "real" just by sniffing. Biting, that's for when I sniff something bad. Get it?)

First Angelique, then Live Body, now Pantheon. Seems everyone's got a video for Haiku--how about you? We're offering a free, inscribed copy of Haiku to the best video promoting the book that is posted online—contest ends at Midnight (EST) on December 21. So get to it!

Could you be a little more clear, Susan? What *exactly* are you trying to say? And with*out* subtlety this time.

In case you missed it ... Andrew Vachss tweeted an original short story last week. It's all collected in one place, now, and that place is here:  http://www.vachss.com/av_books/short_stories/paradise.html

I'm all for listening, too, Jade, but I like to get in a good bark now and again.

Hey! Don't speak Human in front of them -- they don't know we understand what they say ... or why we roll around on the floor laughing so much.

Seems like a bunch of you are looking for signed copies of Haiku, so a group of Zero volunteers have made arrangements to make them available. But orders need to arrive *soon*, and we're only doing one shot. All the info can be found here.

    The Distant Seas

I long to see the distant seas
And set foot on distant shores
And watch the sun caress the waves
    With amber skies aglow
    And watch the stars
    Come out at night
    Like fire flies in June
    And string a blanket
    Far and wide
    And wrap around the moon

And here's what Andrew Vachss had to say about Polanski back in January: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISPkY59vdWI
  • Sep 28 2009 5:26 PM

To all who have contacted us regarding the arrest of Roman Polanski: There is no point expressing your outrage to us ... you're preaching to the choir. You think Polanski went to Zurich by mistake? Come on! If you had to pick one country on the entire planet where money talks, where would you go? Switzerland, remember, is "neutral" ... they are equally willing to take money from anyone, whether it's drug cartels or Nazi-looted artworks. The whole thing feels very engineered to us, set up way in advance. They either have a side deal in place guaranteeing Polanski's return to France—the country which proudly housed that pile of toxic waste called Ira Einhorn, "heroically" protecting him from the "gross injustices" of the American criminal justice system—or there is already a deal in place for extradition. Then, a kindly judge could re-sentence Polanski ... taking into account his advanced age, being the child of Holocaust victims, the trauma of the Manson murders, and his "contribution to culture." Don't forget the "forgiveness" of the victim, probably pre-announced in an Oprah Magic Moment ... ah, the ratings! Result: poor tormented Roman does some Paris Hilton time, and gets a ticker-tape parade back where he "belongs." Maybe he can collaborate (his years in France should have made him highly skilled in that department) with Victor Salva on a movie that would finally surpass Lolita.

A note on Phillip Garrido. The fact that he was a parolee and the Sheriff's Department thought
they needed a warrant to go into his house is absurd. I think the
prostitution investigation is away to thwart public skepticism about
the Deparment's incompetence, and redirect the conversation in another
direction. Simply put the idea that these monsters should be released
from prison is the problem. Typically, those who commit crimes of
sexual violence only escalate as time goes on.

    I dont think he could
win with an insanity defense--how insane was he-- he owned a house in
an expensive real estate market, he owned a business, and kept up a
public facade, but when it comes time to be held accountable for his
crimes, he's insane? Right. He also deliberately hid the children, and
the kidnapping victim from the world, and built a sound-proof shed. If we cant stop a predatory pedophile on parole from having prisoners
living in his house, what chance do we have of stopping the ones who
haven't been caught yet? We have to raise the stakes for those who
commit these crimes of sexual violence, or we'll all end up paying in
the end. Hopefully, this case will enrage people enough to do something about it.

I wonder if Phillip Garrido fits the prototype of the non-violent offenders that California is determined to release by the thousands to cut corners on the budge

How about putting that photo in your icon, bro? It's a thing of beauty!

Pansy, I was at Madison Square Garden mixing the sound for Matt Nathanson last week (he was the support act for OAR). Check out my photo section and you will see I was proudly sporting my "Mama's Restaurant" T-shirt from protect.org!

     Pansy,

Thanks for great advice. But I don't understand what you say about  the "good" thing about being surrounded. I'll think on it a little more. The truth is the truth.

    Your pal,

    Jason

Advice for "young" writers? No. Writing is Not a Meritocracy! Hitting the canvas means nothing ... getting *up* means everything. Spectators don't win fights. My human got more "rejection letters" than you've had birthdays, pal. The good thing about being surrounded is, no matter where you punch, you're sure to hit *someone*.

    *whispers from the shadows*

Pansy, I got my first rejection letter. Stings a little. Any advice for young writers?
