About me:
I am an independent music store in Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia. I opened with a vision of being a folk & blues store, but I've evolved into so much more! One thing that I'm proud of, is that I have NO affiliations with any chain stores, labels, distributors, etc. The only thing I am bound to is my love for good music. And I love everything, as long as it's good. Whether the genre is metal or folk, reggae or rock, blues or bleepin' unclassable, as long as it's good I love it! With so much local talent around me, I have to steel my resolve to go further afield, but I somehow manage it. So come and check out the collection when you have a chance.
Our website is now up!! Have a look by going here:......................

Who I'd like to meet: The background is a photo of "Maldon Dredge 1," acrylic on canvas by Megan Thompson, a local Castlemaine artist (sold). Other great works by this artist are on display in our shop. Feel free to send a message with any enquiries.

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
Dan Lethbridge continues his June residency at Wesley Anne this Thursday with support
from one Tim Cannon. Come warm yourself by the open fire, have a drink
and relax with some fine music.
