About me:
The Great Boston Burlesque Exposition of 2008 is the annual conference and tradeshow for both the professional burlesque performer and the casual burlesque enthusiast. With two days of classes, vendor exhibits, and special events -- and three nights of shows, shows, shows, there's something for everyone at GBBE!

The Great Boston Burlesque Exposition is being held Friday, March 21 through Sunday, Mach 23 at The Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cambridge, MA. It features three nights of performances and parties, and three days of classes, shopping, and special events.
If you're any kind of professional performer (or want to be), you should come to this event. It's not just for dancers!
If you're interested in costumes... we have classes on costuming on a budget, hand-finishing costumes, and how to make pasties. Plus a fabulous costume exhibit displaying costumes from burlesque legends like Satan's Angel and Kitten Natividad and modern stars like Dita Von Teese.
If you're interested in business... we have classes on marketing, producing a show, negotiating a gig, and more!
If you're a dancer... there are fabulous technical classes on everything from Middle Eastern dance to chair dancing to The Delasarte Technique to performing with live snakes!
A full day of classes (10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) is only $45 if you register in advance — coming for both days is only $75, and coming for the whole weekend (every show, party, event, class, exhibit... everything!) is only $125.
