presenting: words + scandale
choose your own adventure! ghazals in my garters, sonnets in m'stockings, villanelles...well, i'm the villanelling vaudevillian.
i aim to convince people that Betty Boop has come to life. i was an awfully nice little girl wearing trifocals, reading Proust, making masques for a theatre troupe and living in an attic (no really, this was my senior year of college to a tee) --until one day a cabaret crashed my nunnery and a circus interrupted my hermitude. c'est la vie. so now i shamelessly share my erotic sonnets and ditherings to anyone interested in being a little mo-lested in the process. (think Sally Bowles yammerings, sometimes in verse) i'm the extra broken (emphasis on functionality) costume trunk/trunk of the Saturn stowaway set-crasher sometimes emcee tag-along to Walter Sickert & the Army of Broken Toys. NOW i come complete with tenor ukulele & a set of skeleton keys! check out my calendar below to see where we're bringing the tiny instruments, bubbles and fancy knickers next.
