About me:
The first Craft Mafia was founded in 2003 by nine crafty business women in
Austin, TX. The Austin Craft Mafia originally came together through a shared love for craft,
DIY ethics and mutual respect.” There are now chapters appearing across the nation.
Burlington Craft Mafia was formed in October 2006 when Erinn, Kacey and Holly got together and agreed that they were ready for a craft revolution. As the owners of urbanfarmgirl, subsixstudios and misshawklet, repsectively, they felt ready to lead the way to handmade heaven in the green mountains. Their mission? To unite independant crafters in the Queen City to promote the indie, DIY movement, the entrepreneurial spirit, and each other.
